Willnorn portable Bluetooth speaker has some nice features. The NFC pairing option is really nice and something you don't see with other speakers. Makes setup a breeze. This is a 2.1 system dual stereo speakers with Sub-woofer. I wanted a better look at the speakers in this thing so I took the front grill off. The speakers have foam surrounds, paper cones with plastic dust covers. The sub is a rectangle sub with foam surrounds and a metal cone. It's not a bad system, but the overall sound leaves something to be desired. Because of the built in sub I expected better lows than I received with this product. Granted I didn't expect much ,as it is quite a small unit. Which is great for carting around. I ended up putting it in a recessed shelf to get a better experience. This thing does get pretty loud however, and would make a great outdoor speaker for barbecues and what not. The rubber coating around the system is a nice touch and gives it a great feel. Buttons work well and are protected from the elements. The charge port, SD card slot, and AUX connector all are covered by a rubber grommet.
Disclosure: I received this product for free/discounted however this in no way influenced my review. I only write honest reviews regardless of whether I purchased a product at full price, at a discount, or received it free.
True Review™. Would I buy it again at Full Price? Probably not. I can see why it is set at the $40 price point, given all the features like NFC, SD card slot, AUX input, and built in Sub. But honestly I personally would look for something with bigger speakers at $40 myself. Sure I would lose some great features. But I'm OK with that.
